A Houston Native, Dusty grew up as a competitive gymnast, actor, and dancer. He received his BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University and worked in NYC as a professional dancer immediately following his graduation. After a year of dancing for Disney, Ford Auto, Nickelodeon, and teaching master classes at Broadway Dance Center and StageDoor Connections, Dusty joined the Israeli dance troupe, The Aluminum Show. Following The Aluminum Show, Dusty became a company dancer with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion®. He was involved in three creations, including Fluid Infinities, which premiered at the Hollywood Bowl in September 2013. In 2015, Dusty became Director of The DIAVOLO Institute, the company’s education and community engagement branch, which fosters dance education throughout Los Angeles. The DIAVOLO Institute partnered with everybody dance! in 2016 and he is incredibly grateful to be able to continue this enriching partnership.
