Caribay Franke was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised right here in Los Angeles, Caribay has always had a passion for the performing arts. Her interest in the stage began as a child, dancing at the Pasadena Civic Ballet Center. She then studied acting at the British American Drama Academy and ultimately received her BA from the University of Southern California with degrees in Theatre and Film. Her career led her to choreograph for films, music videos, and operas—with a particular emphasis on movement-based theatre. She currently dances with the Diavolo Institute, under the direction of the fabulous Jacques Heim and is thrilled to be teaching for Everybody Dance LA! in the In-School program.
Elizabeth Villalobos has her BFA in dance from UC Riverside. She is a first generation Mexican American who has been dancing since she was 12 years old. She taught for years during the school day for youth in the Fontana Unified School District. Elizabeth has performed with various dance companies in Los Angeles including the Primera Generacion Dance Collective. She is also a model, fashion blogger and an actress. Elizabeth is excited to a member of the Everybody Dance LA! In School program teaching team.
