Camille Kappelman, a Washington State native, began her classical ballet training with Vashon Centre for the Arts on Vashon Island. She trained under Jill Adomaitis and Christine Juarez and spent summers training with former PNB principle dancer Deborah Hadley. Ms. Kappelman received her BFA in ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of former ABT principle, Susan Jaffe. With experience in both performance and pedagogy from university, she then moved to Santa Barbara California to dance with State Street Ballet in 2015. Ms. Kappelman spent a season dancing with Donna Sternberg and Dancers in Santa Monica before joining Pasadena Dance Theatre in 2017 and joined the faculty of Jean Ballet School the same year. While teaching classical ballet and dancing professionally, she acquired her 200 hour yoga certification through Hot 8 Yoga, teaching both Yoga Barre and Power Yoga.
