Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her creative endeavors. After receiving double BAs in Film & Digital Media and Feminist Studies from UC Santa Cruz, Jessica wrote and directed her first film while studying abroad in Singapore. This launched her filmmaking career in which she has had her work screened at various festivals ( San Francisco Indie Film Fest, Newfilmmakers LA, San Diego Asian Film Festival, etc). Her work focuses on bringing light to underserved voices. Aside from her creative endeavors, Jessica has versatile experience in digital marketing and project coordination from her time working at various institutions and productions. She graduated from the Bay Area nonprofit BayCat, which supports underserved adults of color in career pathways, and later became a mentor in the internship program. She is excited to bridge her passion with her professional background to aid the amazing mission and youth of TGF. Outside of work, she loves to explore the city, nature, yoga, and spending time with her vivacious pug, Pumba.
